Situated in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve in South Africa’s Gauteng Province, Rooibank is a working farm with a choice range of guest accommodation.
There is the luxury four-bedroom Eden’s Den. Built from the stone found on the farm, this rondawel-styled two-storey house is equipped with state-of-the-art fittings. It is decorated with African artifacts to add to the bushveld ambience. |

All sleeping quarters and bathrooms are upstairs.
Downstairs, the kitchen is fully fitted to cater for 8 guests, although its capacity can be scaled up per request. Guests must take into account of that their stay is self-catering and that they may share amenities with other guests.

The kitchen leads into a large dining hall and sitting room area with DSTV television
The house’s thatched roof extends over a wide veranda. Beautiful chandeliers light up the veranda at night.
A swimming pool next to Eden’s Den provides cool comfort on hot summer days. Separate ablution facilities next to the pool area can be used by visitors not staying at Eden’s Den. |
Rooibank also offers visitors four Sunrise Chalets. Every Sunrise Chalet has two single beds, and has sufficient space to accommodate a child’s cot or a floor mattress. If you require a child’s cot or a floor mattress you can arrange it beforehand with management.
The Chalets are air-conditioned, self-catering, and are equipped with a microwave oven cutlery and crockery for four people.
On another area of the farm, shrouded by indigenous trees and other plant life, one finds the truly unique Bushveld House.
Decorated with fine furniture and linen, cutlery and crockery, this spacious four-bedroom house sleeps eight comfortably. The kitchen dining table seats twelve and there is ample space for more people in the double-volume kitchen.
